GRAMMY Nominations for Higdon and Danielpour Recordings

Recordings of music by Jennifer Higdon and Richard Danielpour performed by Giancarlo Guerrero and the Nashville Symphony bring in four GRAMMY nominations.

The 60th Annual GRAMMY® Awards winners will be announced on 28 January 2018

Giancarlo Guerrero, the Nashville Symphony and producer Tim Handley receive a GRAMMY nomination for Best Classical Compendium for Higdon: All Things Majestic, Viola Concerto & Oboe Concerto.

Additionally, Gary Call, the engineer on the recording of Richard Danielpour: Songs Of Solitude & War Songs with Thomas Hampson, Giancarlo Guerrero & Nashville Symphony was nominated for Best Engineered Album, Classical.

Both Richard Danielpour's Songs of Solitude and Jennifer Higdon's Viola Concerto were nominated Best Contemporary Classical Composition.

Giancarlo Guerrero
